Mass blockings of the Twitter accounts of those Ukrainian users who have active anti-Putin’s mindset and are followed by thousands users is a part of the Russian special operation “Brotherly Peoples”. The goal of this operation is informational deleting Ukrainian patriots who critically and with fact-checking approach regard the idea of reconciliation or “fraternization” with pro-Russian separatists and terrorists being spread. And the final goal of this special operation is destabilization of the situation in Ukraine and “regime changing” to pro-Russian government.

Those people will be able to negotiate peace with neighbours. In occupied territories, in Russia. Using the values and interests, not the conflicts and differences, as negotiation starting points. Like in the history pictured in the “Bridge of spies” movie. “We have to have the conversations our governments can’t”.

Some wonder when the next Maidan will occur in Ukraine. I hope there will be no need for this extreme protest technology as our country is set on a solid path of transit to democracy. However, every new Ukrainian government should know for sure – the Ukrainian people will stand up again, if we see fundamental violations of democracy.

At first, he was just a drop in the ocean. Then, with a red cross on his back, he was helping people until a sniper bullet hit his leg. After all he has been through, he will never be the same: Roman Kotliarevsky, biologist and logistics manager. During the revolution he worked as a volunteer at the Red Cross, having many exciting, tragic and sad Maidan stories to tell. He himself was injured, but he does not regret the time and efforts he has devoted to an exceptional experience that changed him a lot as many other Ukrainians.

Tornado MLRS: How Putin legally admitted Russia is waging war in Ukraine, and a bit of other legal stuff around the Minsk agreements explained.

What is ‘Trilateral contact group’? It is a euphemism that allows ‘leaders’ of Russian terrorist organizations ‘DNR’ and ‘LNR’ to be included in negotiations with Ukraine. ‘DNR’ and ‘LNR’ officially claim responsibility for the war with Ukraine, working as cover for the full scale Russian military invasion. Ukraine officially does not have any top-level contacts with ‘DNR’ and ‘LNR’ and does recognize them as terrorist organizations. Official authorization of ex-president Leonid Kuchma to represent Ukraine in the peace talks has no mention of ‘LNR’ and ‘DNR’, for instance.

Ukrainian Cat Army. Why the Ukrainian Military Will Put Up Monuments to Cats

Dec 13th, 2014 | By

A cat is fighting – this is not a metaphor. The cats are working as psychologists  (or a “walking happiness” as per words of one of the  battalion commanders). The cats are hunting mice and rats that are found in hundreds  at the military steppes posts.
