Protest – London 21 July 2014, Whitehall – Stop Russian Terrorism

Jul 22nd, 2014 | By | Category: News, Politics, Protests, Ukrainians Worldwide, United Kingdom

On 21 July, Ukrainians and other nationalities united in anger at Whitehall to demand action against Russia for their role in the ongoing war in eastern Ukraine and the murder of the victims of flight MH17.

The protesters demanded the strongest possible economic sanctions be applied to Russia for unleashing war in Ukraine and called for Prime Minister David Cameron to apply such sanctions.

Passers by and members of the public were reminded that the murderous Russian terrorists financed and supported by President Putin were responsible for the MH17 tragedy and that it was his missile that was shot down an innocent civilian plane.

It is time for the EU to stand up to Putin; France and Germany must impose the strongest sanctions and cancel the Mistral warship deal with Russia that President François Hollande still supports.
