Kharkiv- At about 3:00 AM (East European Time, GMT+2) today, unknown perpetrators burned another vehicle which was used in support of Euromaidan in Kharkiv. The car in question belonged to volunteers who made sandwiches, hot tea and other non-alcoholic beverages for participants of peaceful rallies in Kharkiv. Arsonists torched the car when it was parked in the courtyard of an apartment building at 31 Danilevskovo Street in downtown Kharkiv.
The fire spread to an adjacent car. Both firefighters and the police arrived at the crime scene promptly.
Update as of 6:54 AM (East European Time, GMT+2): The firefighters had arrived and stopped the fire quickly; however, the car burned completely. Damage is estimated at $10,000. The vehicle was a used Chevrolet.
